Hispanic professionals are already here—leading teams, driving industries, building America’s future. When leaders fail to see or understand them, it’s not a value issue. It’s a leadership blind spot that limits growth, erodes credibility, risks long-term relevance, and leaves businesses exposed in a fast-changing economy.

On October 6, 2013, two men walked onto a football field to lead their respective teams in a duel of the ages. One of these teams was undefeated and would go on to win the AFC Title Championship and compete in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The man who led that team was an NFL Hall of Famer—one of football’s greatest players—who’d already led one team to a Super Bowl victory. His offensive war cry “Omaha! Omaha!” will forever live in football lore. His teammates on the Denver Broncos referred to him as “the Sheriff ”—the man who laid down the law: Peyton Manning.
The other team was . . . well, not as great. They had managed to scrape by with just as many losses as wins over the preceding seasons. Seemingly out of options, the team’s management placed their faith in an unlikely young quarterback.
